Photo of two separate documents related to the 1946 Army discharge of Technical Sergeant Cletus H. Fauber of Toms Brook.
In the left image, Fauber's "Honorable Discharge Record" is in certificate form and includes general information. He was a member of Company E, 26th Infantry Regiment and was discharged from Fort Meade, Maryland.
The document on the right includes more detail about his service. Inducted in January 1944, he served until 25 March 1944. He served as a "mortor gunner" and participated in the "Ardennes, Rhineland, Central European Campaign". Medals received included: "Good Conduct", "European, African, Middle East Theater ribbon", and the WWII Victory ribbon.
Fauber was headed to his home of Toms Brook where his occupation was listed as "farmer".
