Frank was the son of the photographer, Hugh Morrison, Jr. and his wife, Grace Elma (Johnson) Morrison. He worked at the Woodstock Garage, a Morrison family business, for much of his career.
His wife was Gertrude Borden (McInturff) Morrison.
The couple married in 1937 and raised a daughter, Carolyn Virginia (Morrison) Chapman (1939-2007).
