Photo of two separate portrait photographs of M. Blair Zirkle, Jr. with a mustache and wearing a suit and tie.

He was from Forestville in the Quicksburg area of Shenandoah County. His parents were Melvin Blair Sr. and Nellie (Biller) Zirkle.

He married Maxine (Wolfe) Zirkle (1923-2024) in 1956 when he worked as a bookkeeper for a plumbing and heating business. She was a secretary in an electrical business.

The couple raised two children: Lisa Rebecca Zirkle and Michael Blair Zirkle.

Blair was a life-long farmer who served as Commissioner of Revenue for Shenandoah County for 28 years.

The image on the left has a mark at the top where the photographer noted which of the two images he planned to print.
