Letter:
Dear Sis,
I know you will be surprised when you get this because that ugly brother doesn’t write you often does he?
You know when I write home it’s to all of you, but I thought you would like to hear from me “direct.”
How are you and the girls getting along? And who is the latest heart throb? – Cat’s tail? !!! The guys and [I] enjoy your drawings, they say you are getting the right idea now.
Tell Jayne that I really enjoyed what she said on that letter from the league [Lutheran League], and she had better write me a full letter to make up for that Hi, or I’ll come directly home and give her a big kiss. Tell all the gang thanks for the letter. Well, that’s all for now.
Love,
Joe
