Cora was born in West Virginia, the daughter of Jacob F. and Otilla (Crawford) Heishman.
She married J. William Harpine (1881-1968) in Shenandoah County in September 1904. The couple appears to have stayed in the Mt. Jackson area of the County for much of their married lives and are both buried there.
Cora and her husband had a daughter, Willie (Harpine) Geneva in 1909, and a son, John J. Harpine in 1913.
