Frank was the son of William and Margaret (Hoover) Stoneburner in the Edinburg community and spent his entire life there. He was a well-known farmer.
He married twice. His first wife, Lucy M. Barton, died in 1909. His second wife, Mary M. Coffelt, died in 1936.
Frank had one son, Harry H. Stoneburner.
