Photograph of Lew Arden Zirkle as a young boy in a striped shirt and standing beside a bench and a stuffed toy.

Lew was the son of Owen Nathaniel and Audrey Adeline (Miller) Zirkle from New Market.

Lew Arden Zirkle, appeared in the yearbook for New Market High School in 1955. He later married Susan Virginia Fansler in 1967. At that time, he was a mechanic for French’s Frame and Wheel Shop.

His bride worked in a law office as a secretary. She was born in New Market to Burtelle Whitmore Fansler, Jr. and Virginia Louise (Funkhouser) Fansler.

The name, "Owen Zirkle", is written at the bottom of the glass plate of this image.
