In 1930, her family lived in Fishers Hill near Strasburg where her father worked as a Cooper.
Ida married Boyd Grattan "Roady" Roadcap (1922-1997).
Both Ida and her husband are buried together in Idyllwood, Fairfax County, Virginia.
