Photograph of George Romick and his wife, Marybelle (Wealthy) Romick.

George and Marybelle were married in Woodstock in 1940. They had a son a couple of years later.

George enlisted in the U.S. Army in March 1944 and was killed in October of that year. His wife never re-married.

1944 is the date provided by subject's great-niece and ties better with the facts.

Identified by Mary (Lineweaver) Weaver, who was the great-niece of Marybelle Romick. She remembered that Marybelle had this same picture in her home for years.
