Photograph of a newspaper obituary for Cornelius Bowers.
Mr. Bowers lived in Woodstock and had for many years, worked for the Raymond & Campbell Stove Company. He was also a blacksmith and boilermaker. His wife died in 1916.
In his later years, he was mostly confined to a wheelchair. Mr. Bowers was a member of the Presbyterian Church. His daughter, Mrs. Charles Allen, took care of him until his death.
