Portrait of Julia Stickley, who worked as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher in Strasburg. She graduated from Strasburg High School and attended the State Teachers' College (now called JMU) in Harrisonburg. Her 1925 yearbook photograph noted she was a member of both the French club and the Alpha Literary Club.

Later, she married Kenneth Campbell and had a daughter named Mary Campbell Redmon.
