This building stands on W. Court Street. It was constructed sometime before 1899 and housed various businesses including a bicycle shop, harness shop, and service station.
Between 1930 and 1940 it was purchased by the Town of Woodstock and used as their municipal building through the 1960s when it was converted into the Woodstock Museum. In the 2010s it once again became a privately owned commercial space.

Between 1909 and 1930. The 1909 Sanborn Map of Woodstock lists this structure as a harness shop and the 1930 map lists it as a vacant structure.

Identified by James E. Morrison, Sr., who spent time in the library with his mother and worked at the Morrison Studio. Also recognized by Betty Page who observed the photo indicates it was a gas station at one time. She also dates the photo earlier, 1920's
