Second row on the right- second student in is William Dallas Fravel.
The teacher is ione borden is in the middle. Behind her is Clarence Cleveland Fravel.
The far left, last male is Clarence Kibler, Beside him is Hubert Franklin Fravel.
Note the many homemade shoes in that front row. My grandmother identified each student when I was a kid numerous times and I did not have the sense to wite the names down.
Dallas, Hubert, and Clarence were brothers and lived on the Fravel farm where the Mt. Vernon school house was built. The school house is still present and is on the corner of Patmos and Fravel Road west of Woodstock, VA. It was converted into a home years ago.
