Portrait photograph of Dorothy (Bauserman) Finks as a young woman.

Dorothy was born in Toms Brook, daughter of Russell P. and Beulah (Miller) Bauserman.

She graduated from Toms Brook High School in 1944. This photograph was most likely taken while she was enrolled in high school.

She married Louis Jasper Finks. They owned and operated Finks Jewelry Store in Woodstock, Virginia.

The couple had four children, Patricia F., Toni K., Richard L., and Lisa F. Finks.

Dorothy was also involved in several community organizations including the Toms Brook United Methodist Church and the Woodstock Chapter #93 of the Order of the Eastern Star where she was Past Worthy Matron, District Lecturer, Grand Ruth for the state of Virginia and Grand Representative to Wisconsin.
