The soldier on the left is Charles Madison Kingree (1893-1969), born in Edinburg, son of John Franklin and Virginia Frances (Woods) Kingree. He married Bessie Lantz and had a daughter, Wanda (Kingree) Keckley. He is buried in Union Forge.
