Photograph of Lois F. Artz and her younger brother, John P. Artz, when they were children.
They were the two oldest children of James Mayberry and Lettie Irene (Schaeffer) Artz, of Woodstock.
Lois married Odin Guy Sheetz (1892-1965) in 1933. She was an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock. She was the oldest living member of that congregation at the time of her death.
John P. Artz married Anna Rebecca Cayton (1913-1999), originally from Luray. The couple lived in Strasburg and had a son, James S. and a daughter, Sue Grimes. John and his wife are buried in Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg.
