Roy was the son of Noah Samuel and Gertrude (Sheetz) Kibler. He died unexpectedly of appendicitis after being married only 6 years leaving behind a daughter, Helen Louise Kibler.
Georgia Rhinehart was the daughter of R.E. Lee and Blanche May (Ryan) Rhinehart. She married Roy Kibler on April 28, 1930, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Six years later, she was a widow with a 4-year old daughter.
She married for the second time to a man named Phillips.
