Photograph of two separate portrait images of Jane M. (Livesay Hills as a young woman.
She was born in White Sulfur Springs, W.Va., the daughter of the Kenna W and Marian (Collins) Livesay.
Jane was a registered nurse. She graduated from Sibley Memorial Hospital Nursing School in Washington, DC. Soon after, she met and married Stanley G. "Pat" Hills of New York, N.Y.
She lived in Strasburg for many years growing up and returned with her husband in 1948 before moving to Lexington, Virginia in 1954.
