Charles "Charlie" L. Hepner, shown standing beside his wife, Ruth G. (Mumaw) Hepner.
Both were from the Conicville area of Shenandoah County.
Charlie's parents were William H Hepner and Virginia Catherine Foltz. He was a lifelong truck farmer (huckster) with a farm near Conicville.
He married Ruth Geneva Mumaw in May 1917. She was the daughter of John Brown and Nancy Ellen (Fultz) Mumaw.
The couple had at least two sons together: Leonard E. and William B. Hepner.
Both were from the Conicville area of Shenandoah County.
