Portrait photograph of Hilda (Sager) Robertson as a young woman.
Born and raised in Woodstock, she was the daughter of William D. and Bess A. (Sibert) Sager. Her father was the proprietor of a grocery store during the 1930's and 1940's.
Hilda had one sister, Rebecca Ralph (1924-2013) who, as a Minister's wife, lived in many different places through the years, retiring in Ohio.
In 1943, Hilda Sager married Richard E. Robertson (1919-2012) in Dade County, Florida. The couple enjoyed 55 years together before she died in 2008 in Gastonia, North Carolina.
She was buried in the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Clover, South Carolina.
