The Mount Vernon School was located at the intersection of Patmos and Fravel Roads (Routes 676 and 763) west of Woodstock Virginia. After the school closed the building was converted into a private home which still stands as of 2026.

Contributor

Identified by P.M. Fravel in 2006. He is the great nephew of Hubert Fravel and has the entire photograph at home.
