Title

Maynard Emory Artz

Subject

Artz, Maynard Emory

Description

Portrait of Maynard Emory Artz as a senior in high school.

This photograph was used in the 1925 Strasburg High School yearbook. The yearbook staff wrote this about him:

"Marty" entered High School with us in 1921. He is known for having a quiet or almost silent disposition, never speaking unless he is spoken to. He dispenses with his duties as only a loyal friend and member of our class can. We know he isn't a woman hater, yet he has not found a girl to suit him. Maynard is a good all-round sport, and a good-hearted boy, full of determination, which means success."
