Damaged portrait of Ruth Ellen (Coverston) Gorman as a young woman. Ruth grew up in Fort Valley and was the daughter of Clarence Andrew (1889-1964) and Zeta Ruth (Golliday) (1897-1962) Coverston.
Her husband was Nathan Harold Corman (1919-2005), who she married in 1949. He had served in the 324th Bomb Squadron of the 91st Bomb Group with the Eighth U.S. Air Force during WWII and was based north of London.
The couple had two sons, John Nathan "Jack" Corman of Fort Valley (1951-2021) and Thomas Howard Corman (1958-1988). Both Ruth and her husband died in Fort Valley.
