Undated photograph of three women at the Triplett High School Gymnasium in Mount Jackson.

The woman on the left is Lelia Rebecca (Raese) Shannon of Mount Jackson. Lelia was the wife of Calvin (C.M) Shannon who operated Shannon Hardware in Mount Jackson, Virginia.

The woman in the middle has been identified as Jean Churchill (Crawford) Bird.

On the right is pictured Emma Lou (Garber) Martin. She was a first grade teacher in Mount Jackson.

The image was taken inside the Triplett High School Gymnasium, most likely at a Garden Club Flower Show.

Emma Lou Garber Martin was identified in 2002 by Bettie Coffman, who had Mrs. Martin as her 1st grade teacher and made the comment, "I'll never forget her".
