Undated photograph of three women at the Mt. Jackson School Gymnasium.

The woman on the left is Lelia Rebecca Raese Shannon of Mt. Jackson. Lelia was the wife of Calvin (C.M) Shannon who operated Shannon Hardware in Mt. Jackson Virginia.

The woman in the middle has been identified as Jean Churchill Crawford Bird.

On the right is pictured Emma Lou Garber Martin. She was a first grade teacher in Mt. Jackson.

The image was taken inside the Mt. Jackson School Gymnasium, most likely at a Garden Club Flower Show.
