Frances was the daughter of Clarence and Mamie Palmer. She married George Whyte Trimble in 1946. She ran the Mother & Daughter Shop in Strasburg before becoming a teacher's aide for Strasburg High School. Frances was active in the community as a member of the Strasburg Christian Church, the Strasburg Moose, and the Beau Knot Club.
