Gladys was from Edinburg, the daughter of Edward O. and Edna (Foltz) George.

She was a 1942 graduate of Edinburg High School and a Miss Edinburg during that time.

She married Paul Coffman Rhinehart (1923-1996) and they had two children: Gregory Allen Rhinehart and Linda K. (Rhinehart) Ryman.

Gladys Rhinehart retired from Aileen Plant in Woodstock after more than 20 years. She was a Past President and Life Member of VFW Post #2447 and Life Member of Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed singing with the Edinburg Community Choir for many years and was a member of the Edinburg Christian Church.
