She married John Lewis Hines, Jr., from Toms Brook, in July 1949. At that time, she was a 19-year old clerk.
The 1950 census found the young couple living in Strasburg with her widowed mother and older brother.
Subsequent public records indicate she stayed in the Strasburg area although she was buried in Toms Brook Cemetery.
