Photograph of Ethel (Stultz) Hoover as a young woman.
Ethel was the daughter of Abbot Luther and Minerva Stultz. She married Earl Belew Hoover (1893-1982) in 1925, when both she and her new husband were in their early thirties and living in Woodstock.
The 1930, 1940, and 1950 censuses found the couple living in New Freedom, York, Pennsylvania, where Earl worked in the insulation business. They did not have children.
Both Ethel and her husband are buried in New Freedom Cemetery, Pennsylvania.
