Portrait photograph of Jacob Boyer with a beard and his wife, Ann "Annie" Marie (Crabill) Boyer, posed together.
Jacob Boyer was one of the many children of William and Regina (Stickley) Boyer, of Fort Valley.
He moved to the Maurertown area in the late 1880's, where he farmed all his life.
When he died, the Strasburg News observed Jacob Boyer was "a member of one of Shenandoah County's oldest families."
His wife, Annie, was the daughter of Harrison and Mary A. Crabill, of Toms Brook.
