Description

Portrait photograph of Malcom Maurice Rosenberg, when he was a cadet at Massanutten Military Academy (MMA).

Malcom graduated in from MMA in 1946. After attending the University of Virginia and graduating from the University of Miami, Mr. Rosenberg returned to his hometown of Roanoke, Virginia, where he lived much of his life.

He owned Oak Hall Cap and Gown, which had its roots in the firm, "Oak Hall, M. Rosenberg and Sons" started in 1889 by his grandfather, Morris Rosenberg.

Oak Hall Cap and Gown evolved into a major force in the academic, choral, pulpit and judicial apparel business.

Malcolm and his wife, Diane, raised three sons and daughter during their years together.

The name, "Rosenburg", was written on the glass plate by Morrison.
