Milton was the son of Milton S. Hoffman, Sr. and Elizabeth May (Foltz) Hoffman.
When he registered for the World War II draft in 1942, he was still single and worked at the Woodstock Poultry Company.
He married in 1946, after the war ended. By then, he was working as a service station attendant and living in Woodstock. His wife was Ann Elizabeth (Miller) Hoffman (1920-2020). Her occupation was listed as "Viscose" on the couple's marriage certificate.
When he died years later, Milton's occupation was listed as an electrical contractor in the "Electric and Insulation" industry.
