Patricia was born in Harrisonburg, the oldest daughter of
Robert Lee Tolliver and Esterlean Ralls (Butler) Tolliver.
In the 1950 census, Patricia, her mother, and her sister, Jeannine, lived in Woodstock with her maternal grandparents, Lucien and Fannie (Timbers) Butler.
She married Charles Junior Corley (1940-2023), from Stephens City, in 1960. The couple met while both were attending Douglas High School in Winchester, Virginia. The well-known Methodist minister, William H. Polk, officiated at the Woodstock wedding.
The couple had two daughters together, Veronica Maria (Corley) Hawkins and Gina Yvette (Corley) Harrison, but the marriage did not last and the couple divorced in 1977.
Patricia married again in 1982 to Larry Eugene Fields (1953-2017) from Woodstock but that marriage also did not last.
