They were married September 6, 1916.
Lee was the 6th child of John William (1855-1923) and Victoria Virginia (Combs) Heishman (1853-1938) . Lillian was the daughter of John Wesley (1854-1916) and Emma Susan (Marston) Abell (1858-1920).
They had five children: Lee Allen Heishman Jr, Odessa Louise Ryman, Douglas James Heishman, Mildren Virginia Beydler, and John William Heishman.
Both Lee and Lillian are buried in Woodstock.
