Portrait photograph Milton Coffman and his wife, Emma Gatewood (Heller) Coffman in their later years.

Milton Coffman was the Superintendent of the Sunday School at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock in the early 1900s.

Before that, he served as a musician in the field and staff band in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War.

He married Emma Gatewood Heller in 1869.
