Description

Photograph of Kenneth "Kenny" Samuel Walker as a baby posed against pillows on a chair.

He was born in Woodstock, VA, son of Braden Samuel and Edna Arlene Walker.

He was a 1963 graduate of Central High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a road technician and heavy equipment operator.

He married Mary Ruth (Haycock) Walker in 1970. Together, the couple raised two children: Westley Walker and Samantha (Walker) Mitchell.

Kenny worked as a warehouse manager and forklift operator at Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company. He was also employed at the Aileen Plant in Edinburg, VDOT, and worked for Computer Cabling. He was a member of the American Legion and was active in the local 4-H Chapter.

The name, "Walker", is written on the glass plate of this image.
