Photograph of brothers, Richard Lee (left) and David M. (right) Rhodes of Maurertown.
The two brothers were the sons of Ralph Joseph and Marguerite Dixie (Burner) Rhodes. They had a younger sister, Winnifred "Winnie" Rhodes, born a few years after this photograph was taken.
Richard was a 1957 graduate of Toms Brook High School and married Geneva (Wellard) Rhodes in 1963. He worked for many years at FMC/Agritech and later for Bowman’s Applesauce.
David M. Rhodes was a 20-year old farmer in 1956 when he married 16-year old Betty Jean Cooley of Woodstock. The couple raised four children together over the years: Joseph F., David Milton Jr., and James Allen Rhodes, and Beverly R. (Rhodes) Sine.
