Mills - Virginia - Woodstock
Description
Photograph of the Triplett Mill located in Woodstock Virginia.
The steam, later electric, powered mill was used to process local crops for export and was built by J.I. Triplett. It still stands on the southern side of W. Court and Commerce Streets in Woodstock though the building has been heavily modified.
A sign on the side of the building facing Court Street reads “Office.” The Woodstock Freight Depot and a train car are visible on the right of the image.
