Photograph of Russell "Elwood" Burner as a young boy standing on a wicker chair and holding a stuffed toy.
Elwood Burner was from Woodstock, the son of Walter Elwood Burner and Bessie May (Gochenour) Burner.
He married Rachel Frances Hoover in 1946. At that time, Elwood was an orchardist and his new bride, only 17 years old, worked as a clerk.
The name, "Walt Burner", was written on the glass plate.
