Portrait photograph of Walter Raymond Bowman wearing a large bow tied at his neck.
He was the only child of William Robert and Lydia Ellen (Stoner) Bowman of Bowmans Crossing.
The Shenandoah Herald reported his premature death on 21 August 1908. The short article noted Raymond had suffered from heart disease from an early age and that "everything known to the medical fraternity was used to save the little fellow's life, but to no avail."
