Harold Schefftt died in an automobile accident on Route 11 just north of Strasburg when he was only twenty years old, leaving behind a wife, Barbara Hottle Schefft, and parents, Glenn Collis and Magdalene (Ramey) Schefft.
At the time of his death, Harold lived in Woodstock and was an auto mechanic at Grubbs Chevrolet.
