Rena (Pappas) Blentson was a native of Greece who immigrated to the United States and then married another Greek immigrant, Pete Blentson, in 1931.

Her husband was a co-owner and operator of the New York Restaurant in Woodstock for many years.

She had two children, Angelo (born 1931) and Helen (born January 1933).
