Photograph of the Reverend Perry Edgar Sheely and his wife, Pearl Mae (Moody) Sheely standing beside him.
The Reverend was born and grew up in South Carolina, He met his wife and was married there as well.
He became a Lutheran pastor and served in the Georgia synod for many years before moving to this area.
He was a pastor of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Woodstock.
He died in Winchester and is buried in Mt. Hebron Cemetery there.
