Description

Portrait photograph of Dick and Dess Palmer of Strasburg, when they were young, probably around the time of their marriage.

The couple owned and operated a grocery store in Strasburg for many years.

By 1940, however, the Strasburg census found the couple operating the Lucky Strike Bowling Alley located at 206 W. King Street. Their daughter, Frances C. (Palmer) Trimble, worked there as a soda clerk.
