Description

Colorized postcard bearing an image of the Shenandoah River in the area of "Red Banks," a river crossing located approximately 2 miles north of the town of Mt. Jackson.

Visible in the image is the North Fork of the Shenandoah River (center), the Valley Turnpike (now US Route 11) on the left, the river ford (left), and the Massanutten Mountain in the background.

The card was published by Marion Everly a Druggist in Mt. Jackson Virginia and is dated 1910.
