Portrait photograph of Arlene (Didawick) Vann as a young woman.

Arlene was the daughter of Franklin Kirby and Maggie Fravel (Burner) Didawick. She had several siblings.

She married William Norman Vann (1917-2000), and by 1950, the couple lived in the Maple Heights area of Woodstock and had two children, Pamela and William N. Vann, Jr.

Arlene's husband served as the Deputy Treasurer of Shenandoah County.
