Photograph of a single page from a Notice of Separation packet for an unnamed Seaman First Class who was born in Linville, Virginia, on 7 December 1922.
He entered Naval service on 16 September 1943. He served in Bainbridge, Maryland, Norfolk, Virginia, and aboard the SS Thomas H. Benton and the SS Richard R. Arnold out of Brooklyn, New York.
Medals listed were: American Area Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
The name, R.K. Stone, Lieutenant, appears at the bottom of the page, and may be the person who prepared the form.
