Photograph of Ruth Funk Rhodes seated at her desk in National Bank of Woodstock.

Ruth was the daughter of Philip Samuel and Sallie Machir (Funk) Rhodes. She never married.

She was employed at Virginia National Bank in Woodstock for 43 years and served on their board of directors for many years.

Her obituary noted she was a member of Massanutten Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Woodstock Presbyterian Church, where she was an organist.
