Frances was born in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harrison Morton and Lucy Ethel (Hollingsworth) Evans.
This photograph was made before she married one of the photographer's sons.
She married Thomas Francis Morrison Sr on Christmas day, 1936. The couple raised three sons together: Donald E. Morrison, Sr., Richard M. Morrison, and Thomas F. Morrison Jr.
She lived in the Fredericksburg, Virginia, area when she died.
