This photograph was probably made during an advertising event sponsored by Gulf Oil Company of Mt. Jackson.

Gulf Oil Company of Mt. Jackson (a pre-cursor to Holtzman Oil) was owned by Burgess E. Nelson, a well-known entrepreneur and businessman from Mt. Jackson.
