Photo of two separate portrait photographs, one of Douglas French (left) and the other of his wife, Marian C. (Bashaw) French (right).

F. Douglas French lived most of his life in Woodstock. He married Marian Bashaw and the two of them raised nine children: Carolyn (French) Long, Marian (French) Logan, Christine (French) Price, Amy (French) Barbour, Shelly (French) Schechtel, F. Douglas Jr., Martin, William, and Timmy French.

When the children were young, the family lived on a farm in Saumsville.

Later, Marian and Doug moved to their home on Church Street in Woodstock in 1992.
